Brompton Superlight Lock-On Grips

These foam grips with lock-on fastening are the same ones used on Superlight Brompton bikes. They fit the new 'low rise' M Type handlebars from around 2017 and later, as well as all S Type handlebars. If you have the original 'high rise' M Type handlebar, you'll need foam grips instead. Specification: Part codes are QHBGRIP - SL and 9006984.

Using these grips is easy. Just slide them onto your handlebars and use the lock - on fastening to secure them tightly. Make sure they are centered and comfortable for you. When it comes to maintenance, keep them clean by wiping them with a damp cloth regularly. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the foam. If you notice any signs of wear or the lock - on fastening isn't working properly, it might be time to replace them. Also, remember that these grips are designed for the new 'low rise' M Type handlebars from about 2017 onwards and all S Type handlebars. If you have the original 'high rise' M Type handlebar, don't use these grips; get the appropriate foam grips instead.
