If the new hooks seem too loose on your bike rack, use the provided hook inserts for a perfect fit. The package includes 2 x 16mm QL2.1 hooks with a plastic handle, and 1 pair each of 8mm, 10mm, and 12mm hook inserts. These hooks are suitable for all models with the QL2.1 system, except for Office - Bag, Commuter - Bag, Commuter - Bag Two, and Downtown Two.

Using these Ortlieb QL2.1 mounting hooks is easy. First, remove the old or damaged hooks from your bike rack. Then, attach the new 16mm QL2.1 hooks with the plastic handle. If the hooks are loose, pick the appropriate hook insert (8mm, 10mm, or 12mm) and place it to get a snug fit. Remember, these hooks are not for Office - Bag, Commuter - Bag, Commuter - Bag Two, and Downtown Two models. To maintain them, clean the hooks regularly with a mild soap and water solution.
