Nitto Stainless Shim

This Nitto shim enables you to use 25.4mm handlebars with a 26.0mm stem. If you're familiar with older bikes, you know you can make a shim from an old Coke can. But our shim, made of stainless steel in Japan, is worth the price. It guarantees a clean and strong connection between mismatched components and won't scratch your collectible track bars.

Using this shim is easy. First, make sure your 25.4mm handlebars and 26.0mm stem are clean. Then, simply place the shim between the handlebars and the stem. That's it! When using it, avoid using excessive force during installation to prevent damage. For maintenance, just wipe it with a clean cloth regularly to keep it in good condition. And store it in a dry place when not in use.
