It's made of polished steel with a grey finish, suitable for 12s-Road compatibility. You can choose between 120 links and 114 links. Both the outer and inner links are grey, with a polished finish. It uses a PowerLock D1 chain connector, solid pins, and chrome-hardened pins.

Using your SRAM Apex D1 12-speed chain is easy. First, choose the right chain length - you have options of 120 links or 114 links. Connect the chain using the included Flattop PowerLock. When installing, make sure it's properly aligned with your bike's gears. As for maintenance, regularly clean your chain with a bike cleaner to remove dirt and grime.
