Stan's Rim Tape is a great solution for making your bike rims airtight. It can also serve as a lightweight rim tape on any rim. Remember, Stan's Yellow Rim Tape alone isn't a tubeless conversion. Traditional (non-Stan's NoTubes ZTR) rims, even those marked 'tubeless ready', need a black rubber NoTubes Rim Strip for a secure tubeless setup. Using just the Yellow Rim Tape and NoTubes Tyre Sealant on a regular rim can lead to serious 'burping' problems. The tape comes with these specifications: It weighs only 5g per rim. 4 yards of tape can cover about 4 rims, and 10 yards can cover around 10 rims. The 25mm width is perfect for rims with an internal width of 23 - 25mm, while the 21mm width suits rims with a 19 - 21mm internal width.

Using Stan's Tubeless Rim Tape is easy. First, make sure your rims are clean and dry. Then, carefully apply the tape around the rim, ensuring it's smooth and there are no bubbles. For a tubeless setup, don't forget that traditional rims need a black rubber NoTubes Rim Strip in addition to the Yellow Rim Tape. Avoid using just the Yellow Rim Tape and NoTubes Tyre Sealant on a conventional rim as it can cause 'burping' issues. To maintain the tape, keep it clean and check regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any problems, replace the tape promptly to keep your rims airtight and in good condition.
