Product Details

Ekar's rotors are crafted from 1.85mm thick stainless tempered steel, which is incredibly strong. They maintain their straightness and accuracy over the long haul, even when you're applying heavy and continuous brakes. You can choose between 140mm and 160mm diameter rotors. These sizes are designed to match your riding style and can potentially save you some weight. With the same caliper and pads, the larger rotor offers more stopping power because it can dissipate heat better across its larger surface area. The rotors are strong, durable, light, and resistant to corrosion. The lockring isn't included. There are also road alloy carrier versions available to further reduce weight. The 160mm stainless steel spider rotor weighs 157 grams, while the 140mm one weighs 123 grams.

Using these rotors is easy. Just install them on your bike according to the standard procedures for your bike model. When riding, you can rely on their strong braking performance, especially during long - distance rides or when you need to make sudden stops. Remember, the lockring is not included, so make sure you have the right one for installation. For maintenance, keep them clean. You can use a mild cleaner to remove dirt and debris. Check them regularly for any signs of wear or damage. If you notice any issues, it might be time to replace them. Also, since they are made of stainless steel, they are resistant to corrosion, but it's still a good idea to dry them after riding in wet conditions to keep them in top shape.
