Brompton 12-Speed Gear Indicator Chain

This gear indicator chain is used on the newly introduced (in 2024) Brompton 12-speed ultralight rear wheel. It pulls the internal hub gear to change gears. Remember not to pedal while changing hub gears. It's suitable for Sturmey Archer / Brompton 12-speed (3-speed hub) rear wheels. The chain comes with a locking nut that tightens against the cable anchor on the Brompton. Compatible hubs include Brompton 12-speed Ultralight, Brompton 12-speed Ultralight for the electric, and it has the Brompton Q part code: Q103215.

How to use: First, make sure your bike is a Brompton 12-speed model as specified. Install the chain on the rear wheel and use the locking nut to secure it against the cable anchor. When you want to change gears, operate the gear - changing mechanism. Just remember, don't pedal while changing hub gears. Note: Always check the chain for proper installation before each ride. If it seems loose or not working correctly, stop using it immediately. Maintenance: Keep the chain clean by wiping it with a dry cloth regularly. If it gets dirty, you can use a mild bike cleaner. Lubricate the chain occasionally to ensure smooth operation and extend its lifespan.
